In an exclusive for Twin online, Egyptian photographer Amr Ezzeldinn rounded up a few creatives including jewellery designer Shaddy Ellian, stylist Irene Lombardini and make-up artist Zara Meretukova in creating an editorial centred around the narrative of the various shades of femininity. Shot in studios of urban Milan, the editorial celebrates the concept of feminism seen as seen through the spirits of five different talents with different backgrounds and experiences that have helped shaped the attributes of their womanhood. Featuring looks from Shaddy Ellian’s jewellery label Hayden — known for his work in female empowerment, flashy womenswear label Yaezel, classic Italian shoe designer Cesare Paciotti among others, this is a story of the modern Venus as seen through her different rays of light.
