The workshop saw Butler and Eary, both feted for their graphic colours and silhouettes, leading a group of DIY-happy participants through the customisation process.

Katie took inspiration from the animal prints used in her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection and showed the class how to use heat presses to fuse safari-inspired prints onto clothing.  Meanwhile Fred showed the attendees how to create paper flowers to construct jungle garlands and headdresses.

What was the inspiration behind these boys in your recent A/W show?
The book Marabou Stork Nightmares by Irvine Welsh. I really want everyone to read it. As soon as you read it you will see. Hunting the evil bird in the desert with his friend Sandy…The Marabou is the evil part of him. But I won’t tell you anything else, as I don’t want to ruin the end.

The teef grills were genius where did you get the grills from?
Why not! For those who really want to know – the Bling King is where I purchased them. Swarovski was added at my gaff.

Have you seen lil Waynes teef grills? into them in real life?
Nah, I used them in a different context. I wouldnt be a fan of any one with a name starting with lil, unless its Lil Kim- <3 her!

If you were an animal what would you be?
An Egyptian cat, obvs.

Who made the trainers for this show?
Me and my boyfriend Steve Smith. Vis-à-vis VANS.

As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist.

HELLA MAD DECENT- In Technicolor. Ha.

What would your death row meal be? You’re allowed a starter, main course, dessert and drink.
Soft shell crab, roast goose with all the trimmings, Victoria sponge with custard and a Vanilla Screw..
