Alongside the beautiful, exotic imagery of Louise Dahl-Wolfe (a big influence on Irving Penn and Richard Avedon), are Sarah Moon’s painterly, dream-like works and images by Sheila Metzner, Francesca Woodman and the brilliant Deborah Turbeville – all of whom continue to discreetly inspire fashion photography today.

Galleria Carla Sozzani, Corso Como 10 – 20154 Milano, Italia, the show runs until the 3rd April.

American rock band, OK Go, are in danger of becoming better-known for their videos than for their songs. The latest, This Too Shall Pass, took several months, around 60 people and more than 60 takes to realise. The result is an insanely good chain reaction filmed in a single shot. Put together in a two storey warehouse in Echo Park, L.A, the chain reaction machine was designed and built by the band, with the help of members of Syyn Labs.

Geek facts: The wooden tracks that guide the metal balls at the beginning of the video had to be waxed after each take to prevent dust from slowing them down, and the angle of the board had to be at a precise incline of 3.4 degrees.

The video has already had over 2 million hits on YouTube.

See it for yourself here.

We’re excited about the latest creative foray from Pringle. To celebrate its 195 birthday, Pringle of Scotland have teamed up with The Serpentine Gallery (a comparatively youthful 40 years-old), and invited their favourite creative minds to re-interpret iconic Pringle products – from the twinset, to the argyle pattern.

And after his Pringle film with Tilda Swinton, featured in issue one of Twin, the lovely Ryan McGinley is back on board. The photographer has designed the “John”(McGinley) – a jumper with a seagull on the right shoulder to represent freedom and named after his boyfriend, whilst Tilda creates “The Twinset of my Dreams”, with her designer friend Waris.

The only downside is that we’ll have to wait until September for these innovative goodies from artists Douglas Gordon, David Shrigley, and Luke Fowler hit stores.

Where do you live?
Great Eastern Street, Old Street.

What was the inspiration behind these boys in your recent A/W show?
The book Marabou Stork Nightmares by Irvine Welsh. I really want everyone to read it. As soon as you read it you will see. Hunting the evil bird in the desert with his friend Sandy…The Marabou is the evil part of him. But I won’t tell you anything else, as I don’t want to ruin the end.

The teef grills were genius where did you get the grills from?
Why not! For those who really want to know – the Bling King is where I purchased them. Swarovski was added at my gaff.

Have you seen lil Waynes teef grills? into them in real life?
Nah, I used them in a different context. I wouldnt be a fan of any one with a name starting with lil, unless its Lil Kim- <3 her!

An Egyptian cat, obvs.

Who made the trainers for this show?
Me and my boyfriend Steve Smith. Vis-à-vis VANS.

As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist.

Describe this collection in 5 words.
HELLA MAD DECENT- In Technicolor. Ha.

What would your death row meal be? You’re allowed a starter, main course, dessert and drink.
Soft shell crab, roast goose with all the trimmings, Victoria sponge with custard and a Vanilla Screw..

If you could do a collaboration collection with someone who would it be?
Riccardo Tisci.

Favourite Colour?
Aubergine, mmmmmmm

Book?
Filth by Irvine welsh.

Movie?

Artist Alice Anderson has filled the Riflemaker gallery with thousands of metres of hair as part of her ongoing fascination with time and memory. Reams of red locks stream out of the window above the gallery’s entrance, threading their way back through the first floor window before plunging down the building’s chimney to create a Rapunzel circular loop running between the two floors. For auburn headed Anderson the work is part of her obsession with the fictionalisation of childhood, and follows a trio of exhibitions at the Picasso Museum in Paris, the Frac Paca and at the Marc Chagall National Museum. At Riflemaker, through film, sculpture and photography Alice continues to consider the way time shapes itself and how memories are distorted into fairy tale fictions.Artist Alice Anderson has filled the Riflemaker gallery with thousands of metres of hair as part of her ongoing fascination with time and memory.
