Sepia dreaming
Don’t talk to Amalia Sieber about the recession. After repeated knock backs the design school graduate now spends her days pounding the streets of San Francisco armed with multiple cameras. The results are soft-focus, wistful photographs that comprise an ongoing series entitled, ‘Dreamworld’, taken under her artist name – Amalia Chimera.
Concentrating on light and atmosphere in her imagery, Amalia hopes to collate the contents of Dreamworld into a book. In the meantime, for anyone keen on owning some of her work, she’s just started to sell prints online. Amalia also works in stop motion animation and craft; more rays of light can be found on her website.
